Experience
Studying the unsteady motion and dynamics of particles in viscous flow. Using simulation (COMSOL) and data-driven analysis techniques.
Used simulation (Ansys Fluent) to characterize and optimize the mixing of microfluidic mixing devices.
Built a force-torque sensor for robotic applications, integrating a mixed-signal sensing circuit and custom firmware on a flexure-mounted PCB.
Worked in the school's machine shop, assisting students on class, research, and engineering capstone projects.
Teaching & service
Hired by department to TA for engineering thermodynamics class, two semesters. Also served as Tau Beta Pi tutor for several other courses, including Continuum Mechanics and Signal Processing, four semesters.
Planned and ran practices and managed club finances for competition in the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League. Finished 9th place overall at Nationals, division 2.
Hired by Pomona College's German and Russian department to hold biweekly office hours and attend weekly language table for German language students.
